Munnar Tourist Places

One of the most picturesque places on Western Ghats is Kerala Munnar or simply Munnar. This township is actually a hill station, so it enjoys cool climate. On average the temperature rarely crosses 19 degrees centigrade. Many people from warmer regions prefer to spend their summers here. Western Ghats are a range of mountains that run North to South in Western part of Indian Peninsula. These have dense vegetation.

Many rivers and rivulets start here making these hill stations look breathtakingly beautiful, especially in rainy season. Basically, Munnar, though land locked, is not very large city.
