Mussoorie is a municipal board and a popular hill station in the district of Dehradun. Mussoorie hill station is covered by lush green hills and tourists are attracted by its varied flora and fauna, Doon valley and view of Shivalik ranges. There are several lakes in Mussoorie.

Lake Mist Mussoorie 
is one of the popular lakes. Other than Mussoorie tourism, the hill station has also developed as a center of business and education. Officers are being provided with the training related to Indian Police Service and Indian Administrative Service in the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie. There are several resorts in Mussoorie which provide all facilities required by tourists.

Some of the major attractions and places to visit in Mussoorie are Municipal Garden,  Mussoorie Lake, Childer’s Lodge, Bhatta Falls, Jharipani Fall, Mossy fall, Sir George Everest’s House, Nag Devta Temple, Jwalaji Temple, Cloud End, and Van Chetna Kendra. Its nature walk, which is known as the ‘Camel’s Back Road’ is also very popular among tourists. The name of this road is derived from a rocky outcrop which has the shape of a camel’s hump. Mussoorie is a good place to visit and enjoy and tourists are always attracted by its scenic beauty.
