Nashik Tourist Places

Nashik Maharashtra or simply Nashik is a beautiful town in India’s Maharashtra Province. It is located towards Northwest of this State. The river Godavari that starts in Western ghats passes through this town, making Nashik India a picturesque place to visit. Trivashmi hills are at a distance of approximately 8 Kms from Nashik on the city’s south.

Another place that might interest the tourist is a cave on Naski’s north that is called Sita Gufa, or Sita Gumpha. This cave is surrounded by 5 Banyan trees giving it the name Panchavati as is mentioned in the scriptures.
