Ravangla Tourist Places

Tourists who are a game for new destinations Ravangla is an excellent option. This hill station in Sikkim offers adventurous people a chance to go on trekking and mountaineering. An extinct volcano crater can be seen here. The Menam Hill here offers a splendid view of the majestic mountain peaks as well as sloping valleys covered with lush green vegetation.

There are several monasteries here as well like in other parts of Sikkim. Over the years, the traffic to Ravangla Sikkim has started increasing. Affordable hotel in Ravenglass can, therefore, be found. These hotels offer rooms for different budgets. There are cottages as well which are mostly constructed as per local architecture. The furnishing here is also a bit quaint though quite fascinating.

The other alternative accommodation would be some resorts in and around Ravenglass. A Ravangla resort may not have all the facilities and amenities that tourists are accustomed to in other parts of the world. However, it does offer ample peace tranquility and the company of beautiful nature.  The surroundings of this village in Sikkim are filled with tea gardens.

The flowers and garden in this village look very picturesque.  The only way to reach this place is by road. There are people who travel on Jeeps from West Bengal’s Siliguri city. It takes approximately 5 hours to reach this place. The drive, however, cannot be a continuous one.
